The people at Engadget have made a career out of finding new hardware, or new uses for hardware. They have discovered the iPods use in education.

Duke has changed the policy and now students can borrow or buy at a discount.

Purdue is pursuing podcasting aggressively. They have in place a program to get podcasts to the students immediately.

Apparently MIT faculty are having the same kind of seminars regarding podcasting and it’s influence in the classroom.

Duke University gave every single member of their incoming class a brand new ipod. They have done a study, available in pdf format that summerizes the result. You can find the study at;
