As you may know Fordham is in the process of planning and executing a web protal project to unify all of the universitiy’s information services–faculty mail, student mail, OASIS, etc.–to a single authentication portal as part of the larger Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project dubbed “Confirmare”. In order to make sure everyone is “in the loop,” the Confirmare team has asked us to pass on the following invitation:
Faculty:
As part of the upcoming University WebPortal Project , we will be holding Focus Groups. The sessions will be held on each campus and will last no longer than one hour. The Focus Groups are your chance to find out what is being planned and to contribute your feedback. We encourage you to come and participate!
Lincoln Center:
Wednesday, Oct. 4th, 3:30 PM LC McMahon Hall Lounge (ground Floor)
Rose Hill:
Wednesday, Oct. 4th, 11:30 AM RH Council Room ADN
Feel free to bring any additional faculty members you know. The more diverse the response the better to help guide us. Between everyone’s schedules and two campuses, this has been quite a challenge to schedule but I hope these times will allow you all to contribute your input to this important project.

By popular demand, SPSS Mac (13) is again available to all interested faculty in the Faculty Technology Centers. See our Site Licensed Software page for details.
WARNING:
SPSS 13 is not a universal binary and WILL NOT RUN CORRECTLY ON INTEL MACS. There is an incompatibility with Rosetta emulation that results in some computations returning incorrect results.
If you have an Intel Mac, you should consider running SPSS v14 for Windows under BootCamp, or look for an alternative. SPSS v15 for Mac, which will be Intel-compatible, will not be available until sometime in mid-2007.
